  • How to Write a Good Fic (or Art) Comment (in my terribly humble opinion)
As I'm sure some of you have worked out by now, I'm really, really, really bad at leaving fic (occasionally art, but usually fic) comments. I'm not sure that I absolutely agree with this as a 'guide', but it's an interesting start.

  • I Wonder If LKH Has Seen These...
So, someone on eBay is selling magical rings possessed by the spirits of Calvin Klein model-looking incubi who will sexually pleasure you (regardless of gender or orientation) at the drop of a hat. Oh, and they're not vampires. This is all true.

  • BIBLEMAN
You fools! Don't you know a purple costume signifies a villain? Oh, well, actually...
    (tags: religion:christianity:ewchristians)
  • loqia's del.ishli.st
Check it out, yo! A site that makes a wishlist out of your del.icio.us wishlist tag. I'm... not exactly sure how this is any more useful than del.icio.us itself but, well, whatever!

  • Coca Cola - How to make Coca-Cola at home
Have access to your own science lab? Maybe you'd like to try brewing some Coca-Cola! God only knows why; the stuff tastes terrible but, I guess, it's kinda like piracy. Only with food.

  • Make an iPod Video Projector
This is pretty cool. So much for that $24 cable I bought! ... Actually, come to think of it, the cost of the materials for this would probably worked out just as expensive.

  • Uploading files to Resources using WebDAV with Windows XP or Vista
I totally set up a WebDAV folder on TKyn so I could upload files to it from work. I'm so clever!
    (tags: geeking networking)
  • Apple’s (Leopard’s) CalDAV Server on OSX
WebDAV and iCal? It's okay. But the next step? Why, CalDAV of course!

  • The case of the 500-mile email
This story is just. So. Awesome. In so many ways.
    (tags: computing email geek funny)

    Cats, quotes and fandom.

  • American Gods: A Novel by Neil Gaiman
Free (legal) online version of American Gods. Y'all need to read this if you haven't already, because it's bloody great.

  • Australian Broadband Survey 2007 Report
An interesting read. Especially note people complaining about proposed mandatory ISP content filtering.

  • Hilarious Bootleg Toy Showcase
Oh man. Too. Much. Laughing. At. Work. Need to. Calm. Down...

  • Hanzi Smatter 一知半解
Dedicated to the misuse of Chinese characters in western culture.
    (tags: language:japanese language:chinese lulz)
  • The 10 Best Sci-Fi Films Never Made
Postulates that The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy would have been better if directed by Edgar Wright. I can get behind that.
