The Woes Of Calling Your Site ‘Badfic’

Okay, so some of you might remember that about a million years ago I wrote a Corner/mythos crossover crackfic called “Loki vs. Cthulhu, Battle Start!“. I didn’t think it was too bad, considering the ludicrous premise, and I remember back-patting myself at the time for figuring out a half-plausible sounding way for Cthulhu to die.

Okay, maybe not that plausible, but whatever. It’s crackfic and it’s Corner. It’s not like Loki’s gonna lose.

Anyway, I wake up today and find that apparently Profile dioschorium has found my fic, taken offence to Cthulhu’s messy demise, and has decided to share hir disgust with the nice people at Info fanficrants. So all publicity is good publicity but, seriously, you do a Google search for Cthulhu badfic and then… get outraged when it returns you Cthulhu badfic?

I love you, internets.
